Baked Ziti
- 1 pt. spaghetti sauce
- 16 oz. pkg. ziti or pasta shells
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (15 oz.) pkg. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 12 oz. pkg. shredded Mozzarella
- In Dutch oven or large kettle, prepare ziti as package directs; drain and set aside.
- In same Dutch oven, over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until well browned, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Remove Dutch oven from heat; stir in Ricotta, next 5 ingredients and half of sauce until well mixed.
- Add ziti and toss gently to coat well. Spoon mixture into 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Pour remaining sauce evenly over ziti mixture; sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
