Seafood Sauce And Pasta
- 1 large can plum tomatoes, chopped
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 large cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 can minced clams
- 1 can whole clams
- 1/2 lb. fresh bay scallops
- 1/2 lb. fresh medium shrimp, drained
- 1 brisket, trimmed
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- 1 can whole cranberry sauce
- carrots, peeled and cut into 2-inch lengths
- potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch cubes
- 1 lb. wide noodles (egg)
- 6 eggs
- 1 pt. sour cream (may use light or plain nonfat yogurt)
- 1 lb. cottage cheese or Ricotta
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained
- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 (15 to 19 oz.) can pinto beans
- 1 medium size tomato, chopped
- 1 c. mild chunky salsa
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro or 1 tsp. dried cilantro leaves (optional)
- 2 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)
- fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
- Prepare macaroni as label directs, but don't use salt in the water.
- Meanwhile, cook ground beef until well browned.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix and 1 cup water; heat to boiling, stirring until blended.
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
