Taco Casserole

• 2 lb. ground beef
• 1/2 c. Jack cheese, grated
• 1 small can mild chopped green chilies
• 1 jar Ortega thick and chunky mild salsa
• 1 jar Ortega mild smooth taco sauce
• 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp. black pepper
• 1 can Ranch Style beans
• chili powder to taste
• 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
• 1 bag Doritos chips

1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
2. Line a large casserole dish with Doritos.
3. Layer 1 cup Cheddar cheese on top of chips.
4. Brown ground beef, adding chili powder, pepper and garlic.
5. Drain beef. Drain beans and add to beef.
6. Add 1/2 jar salsa and 3/4 jar smooth taco sauce.
7. Add chilies.
8. Simmer for 5 minutes.
9. Pour beef mixture into casserole dish.
10. Top with remaining cheese.
11. Add Doritos in crown-like fashion around side of dish.
12. Bake for 10 minutes.
13. Serve hot.
14. Serves 4 to 6.
