Home-Style Baked Apple Wedges
- 1 Tbsp. margarine, softened
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. orange extract
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 medium apples, finely chopped (2 c.)
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- frozen whipped topping
- Generously grease a 9-inch pie plate with margarine; set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and orange extract by hand until foamy.
- Stir in sugar.
- Add flour mixture, stirring until well combined (will be stiff).
- Stir in apples, pecans and raisins. Spread evenly in greased pie plate.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for about 50 minutes or until golden brown and center appears set.
- Serve warm. To serve, cut in wedges and top with whipped topping.
