Chocolate Chip Banana Bread(Makes One 16 Slice Loaf)

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease and flour bottom only of one 9 x 5-inch or two 8 x 4-inch loaf pans.
  3. In large bowl, combine sugar and margarine; beat until light and fluffy.
  4. Add bananas, sour cream and eggs; blend well.
  5. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
  6. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
  7. Blend well. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  8. Pour into greased and floured pan.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. Cool upright in pan 15 minutes.
  11. Remove from pan.
  12. Cool completely.
  13. Wrap tightly and store in refrigerator.
  14. Best when served the next day; also freezes well.
