Barbecued Short Ribs
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (stir in)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. allspice
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- vinegar
- 5 lb. wings
- 6 medium onions, diced
- 3 c. packed brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 1/2 qt. (6 c.) tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 1/4 c. salt
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- In hot salad oil, over medium-high heat, cook onion until tender (5 minutes).
- Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour over wings and bake in sauce for 1 hour.
