French-Style Green Beans And Corn Casserole
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can French-cut green beans
- 1 (12 oz.) can Shoe Peg white corn (can use larger size)
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. water chestnuts, chopped
- slivered almonds (optional)
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, finely crushed
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- Drain beans and corn; spread in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
- Mix next 5 ingredients.
- Spread over top of casserole.
- Sprinkle generously with almonds.
- Melt margarine. Sprinkle crushed crackers over casserole.
- Pour margarine over crackers.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly in the center.
