Beef Bourbonnaise

  1. Heat bacon drippings.
  2. Add onions and mushrooms; cook over medium heat until lightly browned.
  3. Remove onions and mushrooms; reserve drippings.
  4. Add steak and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
  5. Sprinkle flour, salt, marjoram or rosemary, pepper and thyme over meat; stir so that ingredients are well blended.
