Candy Kiss Cookies
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. peanut butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. bag of kisses
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended.
- Add sugars and beat until fluffy.
- Add milk, egg & vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt.
- Beat mixture gradually into peanut butter mixture. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls.
- Roll in granulated sugar.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Immediately press a kiss into center of each cookie.
- Cool on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing.
