Cocoa-Lace Cookies

  1. Spray baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.
  2. In medium saucepan melt margarine, stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients until blended. Drop mixture by teaspoons 3 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake 9 minutes at 350u0b0 or until cookies spread thin and are deep brown (cookies will still be soft).
  3. Cool 2 minutes on sheets. Working quickly with spatula, remove cookies to wire rack; cool completely.
  4. Sprinkle, if desired, with confectioners sugar.
  5. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
