Supreme Burgers
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. heavy cream
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. minced shallots
- 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. Jack Daniel's whiskey
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- Combine ground chuck, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup cream.
- Shape into six patties.
- In large skillet, add oil and pan-broil burgers over medium heat to desired doneness.
- Remove to heated platter. Keep warm in oven while preparing sauce.
- Cook shallots and mushrooms in pan drippings until tender.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook for 3 minutes.
- Pour sauce over patties.
