Chocolate Marble Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light.
  2. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk; beat after each addition.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients.
  6. Stir in 1/3 of the batter; alternate light and dark batters by spoonfuls in greased and lightly floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  7. Zigzag spatula through batter.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool; remove from pan and cool.
