Tabouli(Wheat Garden Salad)

  1. In medium bowl, pour boiling water over bulgur wheat.
  2. Let sit 1/2 hour.
  3. In shaker, combine oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, oregano, basil and cayenne; shake well.
  4. Mix wheat and vegetables well.
  5. Pour in oil mixture.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Chill for several hours. Serve on a bed of lettuce.
  8. Yields ten 1/2 cup servings.
