Apple Pork Chops

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow bowl.
  2. Dredge pork chops in mixture.
  3. Reserve remaining flour mixture.
  4. Brown chops in oil in large skillet.
  5. Arrange chops in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  6. Core unpeeled apples and cut into rings.
  7. Place on chops. Pour 1 1/2 cups apple juice over apples.
  8. Combine sugar and allspice; sprinkle over apples.
  9. Bake, uncovered, at 325u0b0 for one hour or until chops are tender.
  10. Remove pork chops and apple slices to a serving platter.
  11. Reserve pan drippings.
  12. Dissolve 1 1/2 tablespoons remaining flour mixture in remaining 1/2 cup apple juice.
  13. Combine flour mixture and pan drippings in a saucepan; cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  14. Serve sauce over chops.
  15. Yields 6 servings.
