Turkey Picadillo

  1. Heat canola oil over medium heat in large skillet.
  2. Add ground turkey, breaking up into small pieces as it browns.
  3. Drain fat and then add onion through salt.
  4. Cook stirring often about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add olives, raisins and capers and simmer 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
  6. Just before serving, stir in peas.
  7. Cook for one more minute until peas are heated through.
