Cinnamon Rolls
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 regular size box yellow cake mix
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- brown sugar
- cinnamon
- nuts and raisins (optional)
- oleo
- Dissolve
- yeast
- in warm water;
- add cake mix, salt and enough flour
- so you can handle the dough.
- Knead then put in pan
- to rise.
- When
- double in size, punch down and divide in half.
- Roll out,
- thentut cinnamon, brown sugar, oleo, nuts and
- raisins
- on dough.
- Roll
- up jelly roll fashion.
- Cut in 1/2-inch
- slices. Have ready 2 (9 x 12-inch pans).
- Have oleo and
- brown
- sugar
- in bottom of pan.
- Place rolls on top.
- Let rise and bake at 350u0b0 about 20 minutes.
- May be put in refrigerator and baked next day. Be sure and let rise.
- Will take a little
- longer
- to bake.
- A powdered sugar and water glaze can be put over top if you wish. Very good.
