Chinese Pepper Steak

  1. Cut steak diagonally across into thin slices, then cut strips about 2-inches long.
  2. Heat corn oil in skillet.
  3. Place garlic clove in oil.
  4. Remove after 3 minutes.
  5. Add meat to oil.
  6. Cook on medium heat; turn as needed until brown.
  7. Mix onion, green pepper, salt, pepper and ginger.
  8. Cook on medium.
  9. Stir until just tender (3 minutes).
  10. Blend cornstarch with steak and soy sauce.
  11. Stir into mixture in skillet.
  12. Bring to boil and cook, stirring, until thickened.
