Lattice Top Chicken Bake
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, thawed and well drained
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee fried onions
- 1 c. biscuit mix
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- Combine soup, milk, salt, chicken, vegetables, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can onions.
- Spread mixture into greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
- Bake uncovered at 375u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, egg and milk to form a soft dough.
- Spoon in lattice design over hot chicken mixture.
- Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
- Top lattice with remaining cheese and onions and bake 3 to 5 minutes longer until cheese melts and onions are lightly browned.
