  1. Preheat oven to 300u0b0.
  2. Grease a 9-inch cheesecake pan with butter.
  3. Line bottom with a buttered wax paper circle and dust the bottom and sides of pan with 3 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  4. Saute the onion in the oil over medium heat until soft, about 3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add garlic, dill and salmon.
  7. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne and set aside.
