Rocky Road Candy

  1. In a large bowl, combine marshmallows and peanuts.
  2. Set aside. Line sides and bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with waxed paper. Rub paper lightly with a bit of butter or margarine.
  3. In a saucepan, combine chocolate pieces, condensed milk and butter or margarine.
  4. Heat over low heat until chocolate is melted.
  5. Remove from heat and combine with marshmallows and peanuts.
  6. Quickly spread into the lined pan.
  7. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
  8. Remove from pan and peel off waxed paper.
  9. Cut into 1-inch squares with a wet knife.
  10. Wrap in plastic wrap.
  11. Makes about 8 dozen.
  12. Quick and very good.
