Ham And Cheese Quiche
- 10-inch pie crust
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 8 oz. ham, chopped (1 1/3 c.)
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. onion
- 1 Tbsp. pimento
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Prebake pie crust.
- Heat oil; add ham, green pepper, pimento and onion.
- Cook over medium-high heat until pepper and onion are tender.
- Drain on paper towel.
- Mix eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
- Beat with wire whisk until mixed well.
- Sprinkle cheese over ham mixture in shell.
- Pour egg mixture on top.
- Do not overfill.
- Bake 45 minutes until knife comes out clean.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cut.
