Pasta Fagioli Soup(Country: Italian)

  1. Saute garlic and onions in olive oil in a large sauce or soup pan until soft.
  2. Add beans, spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano and rosemary.
  3. Simmer for 1 hour, covered. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes in boiling water and add small amounts at a time.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese.
  5. If soup is too thick, add water.
  6. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
