Refrigerator Rolls

  1. Crumble yeast into the lukewarm water.
  2. Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening; cool until lukewarm.
  3. Then add yeast and beaten eggs; mix well.
  4. Add about 4 or 5 cups of flour. Beat thoroughly, then add 2 to 3 cups of flour and knead (with hands) until the flour is worked into the dough.
  5. Place in a greased mixing bowl; cover well with heavy wax paper and place in refrigerator.
  6. After 2 hours, take out and allow to double in size in warm place.
  7. Knead down and let rise again.
  8. Make rolls by hand and place on greased cookie sheet.
  9. Allow to rise for 1 hour. Bake at 350u0b0 until done.
