Turkey Roll
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 2 c. finely chopped, cooked turkey
- 2 c. commercial biscuit mix
- 2/3 c. milk
- In a 10-inch skillet over low heat, melt the margarine; add onion and celery.
- Cook, stirring often until onion is golden. Stir in flour; add 1/2 cup milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Remove from heat and add salt, turkey and Accent.
- Set aside to cool while preparing dough.
- In a small bowl, mix together the biscuit mix and poultry seasoning; add the 2/3 cup milk and mix to form a dough.
- Roll to a 10-inch square.
- Spread with the turkey mixture and roll up tightly; place seam down on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Brush top with extra milk and bake at 400u0b0 for 35 minutes.
