Chicken A La Karen
- 1 pkg. Stove Top San Francisco stuffing mix
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 chicken, cooked with celery leaves, debone and dice (reserve stock)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 1/2 c. chicken stock
- 8 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- slivered almonds
- Blend melted margarine with stuffing and spread half in greased baking dish.
- Combine all other ingredients except almonds; pour over stuffing mix.
- Top with other half of stuffing. Sprinkle with almonds.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 30 minutes.
