Chicken Divan
- 3 (5 oz.) cans boneless chicken, drained
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 tsp. curry powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Thaw the broccoli in a colander under cold running water.
- While the broccoli is thawing, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream*, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Grease the baking dish, drain the broccoli well and spread the broccoli over the bottom.
- Sprinkle 1/2 the cheese over the broccoli.
- Drain the chicken and flake it evenly over the cheese.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
