Chicken Cacciatore

  1. 1. In a large deep skillet brown chicken and the first
  2. 4 cloves of garlic in the olive oil, then remove
  3. chicken.
  4. 2. Add the last 2 cloves of garlic, peppers, mushrooms,
  5. celery, onion, oregano, sweet basil, parsley, salt,
  6. pepper, and red pepper (if desired), then brown.
  7. 3. Add the whole tomatoes, paste, and chicken. Bring to a
  8. vigorous simmer.
