Oriental Pork Chops
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 tsp. minced ginger
- 1/2 c. dry sherry wine
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 3/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 4 pork chops (1-inch thick)
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. water
- orange slices, cut into quarters
- In medium saucepan, heat oil.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat; add sherry, soy sauce, honey, orange peel, sesame seed and Tabasco sauce.
- Place chops in large shallow dish or plastic bag; add marinade.
- Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour. Turn chops occasionally.
- Remove chops from marinade; pour marinade into small saucepan.
- Place chops on grill about 5 inches from source of heat.
- Grill 10 minutes on each side.
- Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine cornstarch and water; stir.
