Savory Country-Style Ribs
- 3 to 4 lb. country-style ribs
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Place ribs in large pot; cover with water.
- Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until ribs are tender.
- Drain.
- Place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- In medium saucepan saute onions in butter until crisp-tender.
- Add remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly.
- Pour sauce over ribs.
- Bake at 300u0b0 for 30 minutes or until ribs are nicely glazed, basting occasionally.
- Makes 4 to 5 servings.
