Savory Country-Style Ribs

  1. Place ribs in large pot; cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until ribs are tender.
  3. Drain.
  4. Place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  5. In medium saucepan saute onions in butter until crisp-tender.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly.
  7. Pour sauce over ribs.
  8. Bake at 300u0b0 for 30 minutes or until ribs are nicely glazed, basting occasionally.
  9. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
