Pepperoni Bread
- 2 loaves frozen bread dough
- 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 12 to 16 oz. pepperoni slices (or other meat)
- 3 eggs
- Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley and sesame or poppy seed
- Thaw the dough 6 to 8 hours.
- Combine loaves; roll out to 1/4-inch thickness (18 x 12-inch).
- Spread 2 beaten eggs on dough (not edges).
- Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and parsley.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella over this and lay pepperoni slices on top.
- Start rolling longest side away from you.
- Roll and push pepperoni in at the same time.
- Bring edge to top and pinch ends and seam.
- Place on pan, seam side down.
- Spread beaten egg on top and sprinkle with poppy or sesame seed.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
- Can be made as 2 separate loaves or cut dough in half before baking.
