Potato Smoked Sausage Casserole

  1. Pare and slice enough potatoes to equal 2 cups; set aside. Cook onion in 1/4 cup margarine until tender.
  2. Blend in flour and seasonings.
  3. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is slightly thickened.
  5. Place half of sausage in bottom of 2-quart ovenproof casserole.
  6. Add half of potatoes, half of peas and half of sauce.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, ending with sauce.
  8. Combine crumbs and margarine; sprinkle over sauce.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until crumbs are lightly browned.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
