Chocolate French Toast
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. chocolate milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 4 slices bread
- powdered sugar (optional)
- cherry canned filling (optional)
- syrup (optional)
- Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl.
- Beat until well mixed.
- Add chocolate flavored milk.
- Beat until well mixed.
- Pour egg mixture into a pie plate.
- Put half of the butter in a skillet.
- Put it on a burner.
- Turn the burner to medium-high heat.
- Dip one slice of bread into egg mixture.
- Turn bread over to coat the other side. Put on skillet.
- Repeat with another slice of bread.
- Cook until bottoms are brown.
- To see, lift bread with turner to see underneath.
- Remove bread with turner.
- Put leftover butter in skillet.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4. Turn off burner.
- Remove the skillet.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Top with filling or syrup which is optional.
- Serves two people.
