Brunswick Stew
- 1/2 bottle Worcestershire sauce
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 1/2 bottles ketchup
- 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. liquid hickory smoke
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1 Tbsp. white sugar
- 1 large onion
- 1 tsp. hot sauce
- 3 lb. beef
- 3 lb. chicken
- 3 lb. pork
- 3 lb. potatoes
- 1 qt. lima beans
- 3 qt. tomatoes
- 3 qt. creamed corn
- 1/2 qt. okra
- Cook chicken (and bone), beef and pork in covered pot with water until tender.
- Let cool.
- Grind in meat grinder or food processor.
- Grind the potatoes and large onion; add to meat and juice.
- Cook.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring often.
