Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground round beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 (15 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 pt. cottage cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. Monterey jack cheese
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. Provolone cheese
- 1 lb. Muenster cheese
- Brown beef, onion and pepper; drain.
- Add spices and tomato products; set aside.
- Combine cottage cheese and Parmesan; set aside.
- Grate remaining cheeses, set aside.
- Half cook the lasagna noodles.
- In an oblong casserole dish, put a layer of half the noodles.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Spread all the cottage cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Layer with remaining noodles and sprinkle with cheese.
- Spread tomato mixture and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
