Meat Balls
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. breadcrumbs (plain or flavored)
- 1/4 c. grated Romano or Locatelli cheese
- 2 tsp. parsley
- 1 egg, beaten well
- 1 lb. hamburger type meat
- salt and pepper
- dash of allspice
- dash of cardamon
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 c. beef bouillon broth
- 1/2 c. any old red wine
- 1 Tbsp. flour, blended in 1/2 c. hot water
- Season the meat with the spices and add half the onion.
- Add the egg.
- Squnch it all together and then make 1 1/2-inch meat balls (seems to make between 10 and 12 of them).
- Place in a shallow baking dish and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
- Flip the balls over with a spoon.
