Robyn Sharkey'S Waikiki Meatballs

  1. Mix beef crumbs, onion, egg, salt, ginger and milk.
  2. Shape into balls.
  3. Melt shortening in large skillet.
  4. Brown and cook meatballs.
  5. Remove meatballs; keep warm.
  6. Pour off fat.
  7. Mix cornstarch and sugar.
  8. Stir in reserved pineapple juice, vinegar and soy sauce until smooth.
