Cashew Chicken

  1. Mix egg white,tornstarch,
  2. soy sauce, ginger and salt and pour over chicken pieces.
  3. Let stand for 15 minutes. Brown chicken pieces in hot oil in wok or large frying pan.
  4. Remove. Stir-fry green onions, pea
  5. pods
  6. and
  7. water
  8. chestnuts.
  9. Add chicken pieces and thicken with 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Add cashews and serve immediately over hot steamed rice.
