Pepper Steak

  1. Melt butter in skillet.
  2. Add onions and green peppers; saute about 2 minutes.
  3. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add beef.
  5. Sprinkle with garlic powder and saute, stirring until browned.
  6. Add tomatoes and bouillon cube; simmer 10 minutes.
  7. Mix cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
  8. Stir into meat and cook until just thickened.
  9. Add onion and green peppers.
  10. Simmer until ready to serve.
  11. Great over rice or mashed potatoes!
