Amy'S Birthday Cake
- 1 angel food cake (made as per recipe)
- 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries, thawed and drained
- 1 to 2 oz. can(s) blueberries, drained
- 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
- Bake cake as per package and cool.
- Slice cake into four layers.
- Place first layer into pan and press down.
- Arrange strawberries on cake layer; sprinkle with dry strawberry jello. Spread 1/3 of a half gallon softened ice cream on top of fruit and jello.
- Place next layer of cake in pan and press.
- Top with mandarin oranges (drained) on top of cake and sprinkle with dry orange jello.
- Spread 1/3 of a half gallon softened ice cream on top of fruit and jello.
- Place next layer of cake in pan and press.
- Top with blueberries (drained) on top of cake and sprinkle with dry lemon jello.
- Spread 1/3 of a half gallon softened ice cream on top of fruit and jello.
- Place last layer of cake in pan and press.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 24 hours before serving.
