Tasty Spaghetti
- 1 lb. pork (chops, sausage or ribs)
- 28 oz. can tomato puree
- 28 oz. can ground tomatoes
- 2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 small onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- Romano cheese to taste
- In 3-quart pan, brown meat very well.
- Drain fat.
- Add olive oil to pan and brown garlic and onion.
- Let cool.
- Add puree and ground tomatoes.
- Let cook for 1 hour.
- Add tomato paste.
- If sauce gets too thick, add water.
- Simmer 2 hours, uncovered.
- Add seasonings to mixture.
- Cover and cook while cooking spaghetti. Drain spaghetti and put on a plate.
- Add cheese and sauce.
