Lasagna Specialty
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 8 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1/4 c. taco sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese (optional)
- 1/2 c. mushrooms
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese
- Cook and drain hamburger.
- Add spices, water, tomato paste, tomatoes, egg and mushrooms.
- Cook 20 minutes.
- Fold in cottage cheese. Make in layers in a 9 x 13-inch pan: 1 layer of 4 noodles, 1 layer of 1/2 sauce, 1 layer with half of cheese mixed together. Repeat with second layer.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven until all cheese melts and starts to turn golden color, approximately 20 minutes.
