Golden Pumpkin Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0 (325u0b0 for glass dish).
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup dry cake mix.
  3. In large bowl, combine remaining cake mix, oil and 1 egg.
  4. Beat until crumbly.
  5. Stir in nuts if desired.
  6. Press firmly on bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  7. In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
  8. Pour over prepared crust.
  9. Bake 50 minutes or until set; cool.
  10. Cut into bars. Garnish as desired.
  11. Store tightly covered.
