Hawaiian Chicken Wings
- 10 chicken wings, cut in pieces
- 1 egg
- flour, salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. drippings from chicken
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- garlic powder to taste
- 1/2 to 3/4 small can crushed pineapple and juice
- cooking wine, if desired
- Cut chicken wings in pieces, discard tip of wing or can use other pieces of chicken, e.g., thighs and legs.
- Beat one egg. Season flour with salt and pepper.
- Dip each piece of chicken in egg, then in flour.
- Deep fry until golden brown, remove from grease, drain and place in casserole.
- Mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken.
- Do not cover.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 40 minutes or so.
- This is good.
