Tuna Casserole
- 2 cans chunk style tuna
- 3 c. uncooked egg noodles
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/3 c. sliced green onions
- 2/3 c. sour cream
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. dry thyme laves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 small zucchini, scrubbed and sliced
- 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- Drain and flake tuna and set aside.
- Cook noodles according to directions on package.
- Drain and rinse in hot water.
- Combine noodles, tuna, celery and onion.
- Blend in sour cream, thyme, mayonnaise mustard and salt.
- Spoon 1/2 the mixture into a 2-quart casserole.
- Top with 1/2 the zucchini.
- Continue in layers and finally top with cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Top with chopped tomato.
