Tammie'S Lasagne
- 2 lb. ground meat
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions
- 8 oz.) mushrooms, chopped
- 3 (16 oz.) cans Italian tomato sauce
- 2 medium fresh tomatoes
- 1 c. red wine (optional)
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. tarragon
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
- 2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 8 qt. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- Brown meat and drain.
- Set aside.
- Saute butter, chopped bell pepper, green onions and mushrooms.
- Add to browned meat.
- Add tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes and seasonings.
- Simmer a couple of hours.
- In last 30 minutes, add red wine.
