Steak Over Rice
- 1 round steak, cut (need not be a large one) in half
- 1 bell pepper (medium one)
- 1 small onion (both of these cut up in bits)
- 1 Tbsp. Woody's barbecue sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. pimentos
- 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
- Put steak in hot skillet and brown until done.
- Remove from skillet; put on cutting board and cut into small bits.
- Set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients.
- Use 3 cups of water; put all ingredients into skillet and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add meat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook rice (Minute rice) according to the amount you want on box.
- Thicken ingredients in skillet with 1 tablespoon cornstarch until the thickness you prefer.
- Serve over rice.
- Serves 5.
