Cinnamon Coffeecake
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- Cream together butter and 1 cup sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add vanilla and lemon juice. Sift together flour, baking powder and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Blend brown sugar, 1 tablespoon sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
- Pour half the batter into a buttered tube pan. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over batter, then add remaining batter.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Let cool 10 minutes. Remove and serve warm.
