Lonnie'S Apple Crumb Pie
- 1 (10-inch) graham cracker pie crust
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- 1 (21 oz.) can apple pie filling
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar (optional)
- apple slice and mint sprigs (for garnish)
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Brush pie crust with egg white.
- Bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Spoon pie filling into crust. In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly.
- Stir in pecans.
- Sprinkle evenly over pie filling.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.
- Cool slightly on wire rack.
- (Sprinkle top with powdered sugar, if desired.)
- Garnish with apple slices and mint sprigs.
- Makes 7 servings.
