Super Lasagna(Good)
- 8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. olive oil
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 c. tomato sauce (with mushrooms)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- Cook lasagna according to package directions. Drain. Brown beef in large skillet in oil with onions and garlic. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, oregano, bay leaf, basil, parsley, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and 1 1/2 cups water. Simmer for 1 hour.
- Combine cottage cheese, egg and remaining salt and pepper. Grate Mozzarella cheese.
- Arrange layers of noodles, cottage cheese mixture, beef mixture and cheese in a 13 x 9-inch pan, ending with Mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
- Serves 8.
