Nancy'S Low-Fat Venison Chili

  1. Brown venison and hamburger meat in skillet until done.
  2. Drain and put in large 3-quart or more saucepan.
  3. Add tomato sauces and tomatoes, onion, sugar and garlic.
  4. Follow directions on 2-alarm chili packages, then simmer chili for one hour before adding masa and chili beans.
  5. After 1 hour add masa powder as per directions on chili mix, then add chili beans and simmer for 15 minutes longer. If you prefer a spicier chili, add cayenne pepper in chili mix. Serve with chopped onions and shredded Healthy Favorites Cheddar cheese, premium fat-free crackers or low-fat oyster crackers.
  6. For a 3-way, boil spaghetti or macaroni and add to chili.
